Algebra: Wednesday August 6, 2008. Noon to 4 PM.

Analysis: Friday August 8, 2008. Noon to 4 PM.

Please be advised to bring along your student ID when taking the exam.

NO calculators are allowed for the duration of these exams.

Snacks may be brought to the exam.

Please sign up at the Math Office.

Advice: You are encouraged to contact the examiners above for additional guidance in preparing for the Qualifying Examinations. You are encouraged, also, to seek help from this group concerning questions that may arise in your attempts to solve problems on past examinations as part of your review process.

Study Guides/Previous Exams

Most documents are in pdf format, requiring the Adobe Acrobat. The pdf files prior to WS 97 may not print properly on a unix computer. If you encounter a problem, use the ps versions which work fine with Ghostscript on unix. Please contact J. Segert if you need assistance retrieving the exams or study guide, or to report additional problems.
