Global Well-posedness of the 3D Viscous Primitive Equations
Abstract: The primitive equations are Navier-Stokes equations under
hydrostatic balance assumption plus a heat transport equations. The
viscous primitive equations are widely used as a model for describing
ocean and atmospher flows. In this talk I will present the proof of
the global well-posedness of the 3D viscous
primitive equations.
