Dissipative dynamics in large domains:
attractors, Kolmogorov’s entropy
and space-time chaos
Abstract: We discuss the recent progress in the study of dissipative
dynamics generated by partial differential equations in large and
unbounded domains. In particular, the problems related with the
existence and non-existence of finite-dimensional reduction, entropy
theory, describing of spatial and spatio-temporal dynamics by Bernoulli
schemes with infinite number of symbols, Sinai-Bunimovich space-time
chaos in continuous media, etc. will be considered.
