Entropy and Cramer’s Theorem

Abstract: We explore the connection of entropy as thermodynamic limit in the trivial case of no interactions with large deviation theory, following the ideas in O.E. Lanford and the rate function in H. Cramer's theorem is compared to thermodynamic entropy.
We also compare thermodynamic entropy to the standard information theory formula for probability measures.
