Graduate Student Seminar: Compressed Sensing (Episode II)

Date:
Friday, February 19, 2016 - 4:00pm
Location:

Speaker:
Amineh Farzannia (Univ of Missouri)

Abstract: Compressed sensing or compressed sampling relies on two principles, Sparsity which pertains to the signal of interest and incoherence which pertains  to the sensing modality. In the first part of the talk (last week), we will review some basic concepts of signal processing quickly and then we will focus on Sparsity. In the second part (this week), we briefly go over the concept of incoherence. Hopefully, If time permits, we also will show some applications.
