Graduate Student Seminar: "Random Techniques in Convex Geometry"

Friday, December 4, 2015 - 4:00pm

This talk will start off with defining probability measures and random variables. This will lead to Haar probability measure on topological groups. We will then talk about existence of linear subspaces by random techniques. Random techniques are a useful tool when you want to show the existence of something without having to actually constructing it.
