In 1904, as an extension of Dirichlet's theorem on primes in arithmetic progressions, Dickson posed the question: Do there exist m linear forms a_1n + b_1,...,a_mn + b_m which give m prime numbers for the same value of n, as n runs through an infinite succession of positive integers? Thanks to some recent breakthroughs, we can finally answer this question in the affirmative. We will discuss some of these developments.
