Continuum Theory is an area of Topology concerning the study of compact and connected metric spaces. There are still some interesting examples and open problems. We will cover some examples of continua and the Hahn-Mazurkiewicz Theorem, which states that there exist continuous maps from the closed interval onto Peano continua.
