In this talk, I introduce the circle method, L-functions and some results about gaps between prime numbers. In the end, I will present the new conjecture on unexpected biases in the distribution of consecutive primes by Oliver and Soundararajan. This conjecture is highly related to the Hardy-Littlewood conjecture and estimations on singular series.
