Asma Harcharras is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Missouri. Her research area lies at the crossroads of harmonic analysis and operator spaces. Her work focuses on the study of noncommutative L(p) sets and their matrix counterpart, and on their applications and connections to other areas.
Harcharras is dedicated to her students and is actively involved in the teaching mission of the university. She has worked on the NSF funded project “Development of Courses and Recruitment Models for Attracting and Preparing Middle Grade Mathematics Teachers."
